The strange dynamic of the new situation brought a lot of feelings to the forefront there was a realism to them. The author’s words brought home the pathos of the situation especially when the wife finally found her husband and his memories soon revealed themselves along with the truth of the present. I loved the emotions that suffused through me as I kept inching toward the confrontation that was yet to come. My first book by author Louise Voss, the first half was about settling in the characters in their new roles where each had to find themselves. A wife wiring for her lost husband to home home for 4 months + a husband who had amnesia post accident + a young woman who loved man and found herself pregnant = an all around mess with difficult emotional decisions to be taken.
